Peninsula Power Football Club
Peninsula Power are an Australian football (soccer) club from Redcliffe, Queensland. The club was formed in 2000 following a merger between a club from Margate, Queensland and a club from Redcliffe. They currently play in Brisbane Premier League. In 2010, Power finished 6th place in the league, and went out of the finals series after just one match, losing to Capalaba Bulldogs by penalty shoot out.
2011 Season
Power started the season determined to improve upon their 6th place position in 2010, and the signs looked good after a respectable 1-0 defeat at Victorian Premier League side Dandenong Thunder in pre-season[1].
However the season start could not have been worse for Power, who only managed 1 point from their first 7 games. They picked up their first win of the season against University of Queensland on 14 May.
